The Guthrie Clinic has been named one of America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals 2025 by Forbes and Statista for its commitment to creating an outstanding workplace culture.
The prestigious award is based on an independent survey of more than 17,000 U.S. employees at healthcare and social welfare organizations with at least 1,000 employees. The ranking celebrates employers dedicated to supporting their teams and advancing the healthcare professions.
“Being named a top employer by Forbes is a powerful validation of our core belief that exceptional patient care begins with exceptional support for our caregivers,” said Dr. Edmund Sabanegh, President and CEO, The Guthrie Clinic. “This award belongs to every member of the Guthrie team who makes our organization a place where professionals can build a career, find purpose and make a profound difference in the lives of others.”
This latest honor is part of a growing list of workplace accolades for Guthrie in 2025. For the second straight year, Forbes also named the organization to its lists of America’s Best-In-State Employers for Pennsylvania and America’s Best Employers for Women. Additionally, Guthrie earned the American Medical Association’s “Joy in Medicine” recognition and was named a “Best Place to Work” by Modern Healthcare and one of “America’s Greatest Workplaces in Health Care” by Newsweek.
Forbes based its evaluation on key factors including company culture, atmosphere and development, working conditions, salary, and image. Guthrie’s inclusion on the list highlights its ongoing commitment to building an inclusive and innovative environment where healthcare professionals can do their best work.
Statista, a leading provider of market and consumer data, partnered with Forbes to create the ranking.
