The Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce named Coaches Pizza in Waverly as their 2025 Business Member of the Year.
The award was handed out during the chamber’s annual banquet on Wednesday night at the Best Western Grand Victorian Inn.
Coaches Pizza was opened in 2013 by Hoyt Bailey and Donnie Ingham. Since that time, the Broad Street business has served up delicious pizza, wings and subs while also giving back to the community.
The other two nominees for the award were Century 21 Jackson Real Estate and Tom’s Hardware and Feed.
The Chamber gave out several other awards throughout the night.
Jeff Paul Plumbing and Heating was honored with the Community Connected award, while Ageless Strength earned the Small Business Hero honor, Rollin’ With Rogers was given the Great Beginnings award and Animal Care Sanctuary was honored for Caring for the Community.
The Athens Business Association honored Staggering Unicorn Winery as its Business of the Year, and Prestige Dance Company was named the Waverly Business Association’s Business of the Year.
