More than 1,000 runners braved the cold at the annual Guthrie Sayre Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning.

A pair of cousins would take home first-place in the Turkey Trot.

Joe Laudermilch, who is a 15-year-old from Alaska won the men’s race in 16:57, while his cousin Gracelyn Laudermilch, a recent Northeast Bradford graduate, won the female race in 18:47.

All proceeds from the annual Turkey Trot go to the Guthrie Cancer Care Fund. The total amount raised from this year’s event has not been released. Last year, more than $67,000 went to the cancer care fund.
