A 22-year-old Owego man is facing charges after allegedly stealing from an Athens Township business.
According to police, Craig M. Wallace was charged with one count of felony retail theft.
Wallace is accused of stealing six electric motors with a total value of over $30,000 from the Twin Tiers Car Wash on Elmira Street in Athens Township.
A 17-year-old male from Barton was also arrested following the incident on April 9th.
The teenage suspect told police that he noticed the motors outside the property close to the dumpster and believed they were scrap metal.
Wallace and the juvenile scrapped the motors at an Owego business.
