The Sayre Police Department was recently awarded state funds that will go towards expanding its headquarters.
According to State Sen. Gene Yaw and State Rep. Tina Pickett, the local police department will get $305,000 for the project which will add a 2,000 square foot space to the station on South Lehigh Avenue.
