The first ever Sayre Scare: A Halloween Block Party is set for tonight (Friday, Oct. 31).
The event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at Howard Elmer Park in Sayre. It will feature vendors, food trucks and a DJ.
There will also be costume contests for both dogs and people, and a chance for kids to get even more candy throughout the park.
The Sayre Borough Police Department will be holding a finger-printing demonstration, while the Sayre Library will be open with some Halloween festivities and the Sayre Fire Department will have giveaways.
