There are several events set for this weekend’s Sayre Homecoming Celebration.
Starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, a Chicken BBQ will be held at the Sayre Elks. Proceeds will go to the Sayre Jr. Redskins football program.
The Homecoming Parade will begin on Lockhart Street at 1 p.m. and end at the Hopkins Street parking lot at the high school.
A carnival will be held from 2:30 to 6 p.m. on the Sayre High School practice field. It will feature games, a bounce house, food trucks and more.
Finally, the Sayre football team will take on Canton in the Lockhart Street Bowl at 7 p.m. on Saturday night.
Sayre will be accepting non-perishable food items for the Rusty Rail food drive throughout the day.
