A Sayre woman is behind bars after she allegedly attacked Athens Township Police Chief Roger Clink last month.
According to the Morning Times, 44-year-old Morgan Renee Henry was charged with aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and harassment.
Police were called after a patient had walked away from a mental health facility and was walking down the road at around 1:30 am on Sept. 28th.
During the incident, Clink said Henry started punching him with a closed fist and clubbing him with a hard plastic water container.
Clink defended himself and eventually got Henry on the ground. The suspect then began to allegedly kick the police chief repeatedly.
Once she was placed in the back of the patrol vehicle, Henry proceeded to urinate and started to kick both rear windows of the car.
Henry was treated by EMS at the scene before being transported to the Robert Packer Hospital Emergency Room.
Henry was arrested on Thursday and remanded to the Bradford County Jail on $100,000 bail.
