Police have identified the driver of the vehicle that led police on a chase from Sayre to Barton, Tioga Center, and Owego on New Year’s Day. 29-year-old Bradley Snyder of Germansville, Pennsylvania was driving with a heavily damaged windshield, when Sayre Police attempted a traffic stop. Snyder sped away. He collided with an SUV, drove a Sayre Police car off the road, and collided with a second police car. The chase continued on Route 17C and ended when Snyder struck a deer in Owego. He was apprehended after a brief foot chase. Snyder is being held in the Tioga County Jail on $25,000 bail on multiple charges.
