Two men from Yemen have been charged for allegedly selling drugs out of a vape shop in Sayre.
According to the Sayre Police Department, Sefian S. Nagi and Magedaldeen F.Ali, both 25 years old, were arrested and remanded to the Bradford County Jail on $200,000 bail.
Nagi was charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, intentional possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
Ali was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, intentional possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police said officer stopped into the vape shop on West Hayden Street and purchased a THC vape from Ali on Feb. 10.
The next day, another detective with the Bradford County Drug Task Force purchased an illegal vape from Nagi. Police said both vapes tested positive for THC.
According to the Morning Times, this is not the first time the store has been involved in the alleged illegal sale of narcotics. Police raided the business back in 2022. Multiple arrests were made and those resulted in convictions in court.
