During the second day of his trial for attempted rape, a Waverly resident entered a guilty plea. 37-year-old Wayne Wood will receive a sentence of ten years for the May, 2017 incident. He will also be sentenced to ten years post-release supervision. Wood was returned to the Tioga County Jail to await sentencing on June 11th.
