Waverly Police say they’ve received reports that residents are being solicited by callers claiming to be part of the Waverly Little League. According to police, the callers are attempting to collect donations by telling residents there will be no baseball season this year if they do not donate. Police say this is a scam, and that Waverly Little League does not engage in any fundraising over the phone. If you receive a similar call police advise you to hang up.
