The Williams Companies made a major donation to Guthrie on Monday following their annual Drive Pink and Dandy Pink Cup initiatives.

Williams presented a check for $51,603 to Guthrie’s Breast Care Fund after their fundraising drives which run each October.

The Guthrie Breast Care Fund helps breast care patients receiving treatment at Guthrie with the cost of medication, post-surgical supplies, diagnostic testing and other items not covered by insurance.

“For more than a decade, Williams and Dandy have successfully channeled community spirit into meaningful, real support for local cancer patients throughout our region,” said Dr. Edmund Sabanegh, President and CEO of The Guthrie Clinic. “This remarkable generosity eases significant financial burdens during the time when patients need it most, allowing them to focus on their health and recovery.”
“We’re really excited to be here on behalf of Williams Companies together to donate around $51,000 to the Guthrie Breast Care Fund,” said Dalton Williams, Vice President of Williams Auto Group. “It’s an initiative that all parties in our company work together really hard on to give back to something so important, right here in our backyard.”
