State Police: After a Dispute in Endwell, 33-Year Old Man Fell Out of Car and Died

New York State Police are investigating an incident in the town of Union that resulted in the death of a 33-year-old male.  The identity of the male is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The investigation has revealed that after a dispute, a 33-year-old male jumped onto a vehicle then fell to the ground and succumbed to injuries. The incident occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m., on June 4, 2020 in a parking lot on Delaware Avenue in Endwell.

When troopers arrived, they performed life-saving measures then turned the male over to the care of Endwell Fire and Union Volunteer Emergency Squad.  The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The vehicle was stopped on Main and First Streets by officers from the village of Johnson City Police and detained until troopers arrived.  The operator and two passengers were interviewed by members of the State Police.

At this time, no one has been charged.  The New York State Police is working with the Broome County District Attorney’s Office on this case.  It is under investigation and more will be released when it is available.
