Former SUNY Polytechnic President Sentenced to Prison

Alain Kaloyeros, the former president of SUNY Polytechnic, was sentenced yesterday to 3 ½ years in prison for his role in a huge pay-for-play scandal that arose from the Buffalo Billions economic development project. Three developers have already been sentenced to prison time. Former Andrew Cuomo aide Joseph Percoco has received a sentence of 6 years in the bid rigging scheme.
