New York’s Unemployment Rate Falls to Record Low

The unemployment rate in New York State has declined to its lowest level since the current formula was adopted in 1976. The unadjusted unemployment rate fell to 3.5% in November. The number of unemployed people stood at 339,000, also not seasonally adjusted. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is 3.9%. There were 9,394,100 people employed in the state.
