In less than two hours on Tuesday, local Broome County families received over 100 backpacks full of school supplies as part of the Broome County Sheriff’s first annual Back to School Backpack Giveaway.
If your family was unable to make it to the event, but you’re still in need of backpacks and school supplies for the coming school year, contact the sheriff’s office at 607-778-1168 and they will make arrangements to help get you the supplies you need.
The Sheriff’s Office thanked the Big Dipper BBQ 2 for hosting the event and providing attendees with free ice cream cones.
