Team Tioga announced on Tuesday that the roof installation at the Owego Elks Lodge is now complete.
The Tioga County Rural Economic Area Partnership (REAP) teamed up with the Owego Elks to support this essential project. REAP served as the fiscal sponsor for grant funding, while TEAM Tioga took the lead on grant research, writing, and management.
Located in the Historic District at 223 Front Street, these repairs were crucial to ensuring the safety and stability of this iconic building. It also helps maintain the Elks’ ongoing commitment to charitable giving.
Chartered in 1906, the Owego Elks have made a significant impact on our community, contributing over $5.4 million dollars to local causes.
