(Sayre, PA) – A community Town Hall Meeting is scheduled for this Thursday, August 11 at 7 p.m. in the Sayre Elks Banquet Room. The topic for this community-sponsored event is the future of the educational system in the Sayre and Athens communities.
Organizers said the meeting is completely community-minded and community-driven because all community members need to take ownership of the future of our children’s education system.
The discussion will solicit input from members of both communities regarding what they believe would be best for the two school systems and youths for the future. It will be completely up to the group how to proceed based on the feedback.
