The State Emergency Operations Center has been activated as this complex storm system impacts the state through this evening, bringing strong winds, heavy snow, and rain. Senior administration officials have been deployed to Regional Emergency Operations Centers in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Utica, Binghamton, Albany, Westchester County, New York City and Long Island. The New York DOT is be sending 10 additional plows and 16 drivers to the Southern Tier to assist with cleanup.
