Tioga deputies arrest Johnson City man for fraud at Owego and Apalachin VISIONS

On April 8, the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division arrested 27-year-old Jermaine L. Barron, of Johnson City, for one count of Grand Larceny in the third degree, a class D felony; one count of Grand Larceny in the fourth degree, a class E felony; and Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor. The arrest was made after a complaint of alleged fraudulent bank withdrawals at Visions Federal Credit Union branches in Owego and Apalachin.

Barron was arraigned on April 8 in CAP Court by Justice Les Swartz and released on his own recognizance. Barron was then scheduled to appear in the Town of Owego Court before Justice Patrick Hogan.
