UPDATE. Fayetteville Police: Shooting that Killed Vestal Resident Was “Confrontation” Between Biker Gangs

(Fayetteville, N.C.) – Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department Homicide Unit have determined the shooting that occurred in the parking lot of a Fayetteville motel on March 19, in which a Vestal resident was among three who died, was the result of a confrontation between the Hells Angels, Red Devils, Infamous Ryders, and La Familia motorcycle gang organizations.

Donald Dillenbeck, 49, of Vestal, succumbed to his injuries at a Fayetteville area hospital. 

Detectives are reviewing hundreds of hours of private security camera footage, license plate reader data, and city owned cameras. Witnesses or anyone with specific information are asked to contact Detective R. Vernon at (910) 729-2525 or submit an anonymous tip through Crimestoppers at (910) 483-TIPS (8477).
