Maine-Endwell Student Wins National Scholastic Art Award for ‘Amaranthine’

Maine-Endwell High School senior, Caitlin Smith, is a Silver Key medalist in the National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Caitlin was honored June 4 with other student artists at the Scholastic 2020 National Award Ceremony. The event, traditionally held at Carnegie Hall, was held virtually on the organization’s website:

The Gold and Silver Key art was displayed before the ceremony which will feature celebrities, including Jennifer Garner, Chris Colfer and Lena Dunham.

Caitlin won her Silver Key award for her painting “Amaranthine.” This is a huge honor for artists across the country.
