The Vestal Middle School will be hosting the 2018 Broome County Mathalon. The event for sixth graders will test the math skills of about 90 participants. This year’s competition will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 1st at the Vestal Middle School on South Benita Boulevard. 15 teams will be competing in the event sponsored by BAE Systems. Vestal Middle School has two teams, and will welcome teams from All Saints, Chenango Valley, Johnson City, St. John’s, Susquehanna Valley, Binghamton’s West Middle and Windsor.
