The Chief Executive of the Town of Conklin, William Dumian, has ordered the immediate evacuation of all residents on Stillwater Road, Route 7A South between the Route 7 intersection Fountain Blue and Pride Manor mobile home parks. In addition, Dumian has declared a State of Emergency in the Town of Conklin. He has ordered no recreational use of any waterway and no driving in flooded areas. The State of Emergency will remain in effect until rescinded. Multiple people have been rescued by boat from the mobile home parks.
