A Montrose woman has died following a freak head-on collision on Route 706 in Bridgewater Township. Police said that a Ford Focus rear-ended a Nissan Rogue, forcing the Focus into the oncoming lane. The Focus was then hit head-on by a pickup truck. The passenger of the Focus, 86-year-old Amy Cain was fatally injured. The drivers of the three vehicles suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital. The Wednesday accident is under investigation.
