Owego police responded to a larceny complaint at John’s Fine Food on North Avenue. During the investigation, 28-year-old Norman Shaheen and 29-year-old Sarah Hartjen, both of McDonough, were charged with petit larceny, unlawful possession of marijuana and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Both were issued appearance tickets to
return to Village of Owego Court at a later date and then released on bail.
