BREAKING NEWS: State Police at Binghamton were dispatched to the Chenango River at approximately 6:03 p.m. Thursday and the body of a male kayaker was located shortly thereafter. The kayaker was with a group of people and his kayak capsized. The cause of death is undetermined at this time and the name is being withheld pending family notification.
