The two State Troopers that were injured in a crash on the New York State Thruway, remain hospitalized in serious but stable condition. Both have had surgery. The Troopers were assisting several tow truck operators in removing a disabled vehicle from the median when a car crashed into the troopers’ car and a tow truck. The operator of the vehicle, 26-year-old Christopher Neumann, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and other charges.
