WATS (AM) FCC Applications
On July 25, 2014, WATS (AM) was granted a license by the Federal Communications Commission to serve the public interest as a public trustee until August 1, 2022. Our license will expire on August 1, 2022. We filed an application for license renewal with the FCC on March 8, 2022. Members of the public wishing to view this application or obtain information about how to file comments and petitions on the application can visit publicfiles.fcc.gov and search in the WATS public file for file number 0000186099. It contains information concerning the station’s performance over the last 8 years. Individuals who wish to advise the FCC of facts relating to our renewal application, and to whether this station has operated in the public interest, should file comments and petitions with the FCC by July 1, 2022.
