(Bloomsburg, PA) – Recently, on Saturday, March 18, Athens High School senior student Caleb Hunsinger competed at the CM Vo-Tech “Rams Power Day” Bench Press & Deadlift Contest in Bloomsburg, Pa.
As a first-time competitor for the newly established “G.R.I.P. Powerlifting Club” at Athens Area High School, Caleb earned 2nd place in his division and weight class. Caleb bench pressed 200 pounds, while weighing only 144.
The next contest for the Poerlifting Club is scheduled at the P.S.C.P.A. State Powerlifting Championships on April 29 at Parkland High School in Allentown, Pa. The local club anticipates taking 10 lifters to this contest.
