For the second straight year, some of the best wrestlers in Pennsylvania and New York will compete on Desmond Street in downtown Sayre.
The second annual Duals on Desmond All-Star Wrestling Showcase will return to Sayre on Saturday, June 7 with youth, varsity boys and varsity girls matches between All-Star teams from Pennsylvania and New York.
Last year, over a thousand fans flocked to Desmond Street in Sayre to watch the first-ever Duals on Desmond, and they were treated to three outstanding dual meets.
Organizers are expecting an even bigger crowd this year as the enthusiasm for this unique event continues to grow.
There are some incredible matchups already set, including a varsity girls battle between two state champions and a varsity boys showdown between a pair of state medalists – and there are plenty more in the works.
