Elmira High School grad Morgan Gentile reached a major milestone on the college hardwoods on Wednesday night.
Gentile, who is a grad student and guard for the Edinoboro University women’s basketball team, scored her 1,000th career college point in a win over Slippery Rock.
Gentile spent her first two college years at St. Bonaventure before transferring to Edinboro.
The Athens native is averaging a team high 14.9 points per game while also racking up 126 assists and 61 steals so far this season.
Edinboro is currently 21-6 on the year and will receive a bye in the opening round of the PSAC Tournament.
