Elmira native Johnny Beecher is staying with the Boston Bruins.
Beecher resigned with the Bruins this week with a one-year NHL contract through next season.
The 24-year-old just finished up his second season in Boston after being drafted in the first round of the 2019 NHL Draft.
Beecher appeared in 78 games last season and finished with 11 points, including three goals and eight assists.
