Tioga has won the Section IV Class D high school football championship, defeating Greene by a score of 36-7. Tioga has now won the championship seven of the last eight years and two years in a row. Emmitt Wood was the MVP. Austin Lamb was the defensive player of the game. Tioga will play Herkimer or Onondaga on Friday at 5PM at Cicero-North Syracuse High School.
In Class A, Vestal defeated Union-Endicott 27-13. Vestal will play Indian River on Friday at 8PM at Cicero-North Syracuse High School.
In Class B, Chenango Forks defeated Maine-Endwell 15-0. Chenango forks will be playing Skaneateles on Saturday at 3PM at Cicero-North Syracuse High School.
In Class C, Susquehanna Valley defeated Waverly 62-9. SV will play Holland Patent on Saturday at noon also at Cicero-North Syracuse High School.
