The Sayre Redskins are headed to the District IV Class AA semifinals after an impressive 64-45 win over Line Mountain on Wednesday night.
The No. 4 Redskins built a 30-point lead in the third quarter thanks to big games from seniors Zach Senese and Nick Pellicano.
Senese knocked down four 3-pointers and had 18 points in the first half to help the Redskins build a big lead.
Pellicano took over in the third quarter, scoring 12 of his game-high 26 points in the frame.
The other key to the victory was a strong defensive effort, which including forcing 25 turnovers on Wednesday night.
Sayre will now play No. 1 Northwest on Saturday at Loyalsock High School.
