It was a historic night inside the Sayre High School gym on Monday as two Redskins reached milestones in Sayre’s 64-30 win over Sullivan County.
Senior Nick Pellicano joined the 1,000-point club when he scored his 20th point of the night late in the fourth quarter.
Senior Hudson Trump celebrated earlier in the game when he grabbed his 500th career rebound.
Pellicano led Sayre with 20 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals, while Trump added 11 points to go with his game-high 12 rebounds.
Sayre is now 12-3 on the year and will host NTL powerhouse Troy on Wednesday.
