The BU men’s tennis team learned Tuesday it will battle the UCLA Bruins in the first round of the 2011 NCAA tournament next weekend.
Cornell University also received an invitation, the first in school history in tennis.
The Bearcats drew the perennial West coast power UCLA, a school making its 35th consecutive appearance in the NCAAs.
Binghamton, the America East champ for the fourth straight season, is making its seventh appearance in nine years and will battle the Bruins in Los Angeles Friday May 13th at 4PM.
Cornell went 26 – 4 for the season and will play the Big East champion Louisville Cardinals in the first round.
