Schuyler County officials have released the name of the woman who died in a fire early Wednesday morning. 63-year-old Sandra Porter, died after her home on Six Corners Road in Tyrone caught fire. The entire house was engulfed by the time crews arrived. One man did make it out with minor injuries, but Porter did not. It took firefighters about 40 minutes to get the fire under control. The cause of Porter’s death, and the fire, are both under investigation.
