Binghamton’s Benjamin Franklin Elementary School will have a new principal beginning in December. Suzanne Thomas will leave her post as the district’s director of attendance and pupil services and begin her role as principal starting December 2nd. Thomas has been in her current position since July of 2010, and began her career as a special education teacher at the elementary level back in 1989, and also worked as a building administrator at Orchard Park High School in Orchard Park, NY and Sweet Home High School in Amherst, NY.
