The U.S. Marshal’s Regional Fugitive Task Force executed an arrest warrant early this morning in the Town of Maine. The task force took Timathy Benniger into custody without incident on a New York State Parole violation warrant. Benniger is a level three sex offender convicted of sexual abuse back in 2003, and he violated the terms of his parole when he failed to report and ran from parole officers within the past week. He is now being held at the Broome County Sheriff’s Correctional Facility without bail.
