Quick Firefighter Response Saves Maine Home

A quick response by multiple fire departments saved a home in Maine over the weekend. Around 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon, a fire was reported in the back of the home at 32 Church Street. Fire crews from Maine, West Corners, and Union Center all responded to the scene. According to officials, residents were inside the home when the fire first broke out but all were able to safely escape. The fire caused only minor damage to the outside of the home. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
