The bridge over Campville Creek on route 17C in the town of Owego will be getting an upgrade. Congressman Richard Hanna announced yesterday that 72 million dollars in federal grant money will be used to upgrade 29 bridges throughout the state that were damaged by storms. The upgrades include increasing hydraulic openings and elevating bridges to two feet above base flood elevation.
