A $9.9 million dollar proposed capital improvement project is up for a vote today in the Spencer-Van Etten Central School District. Residents will head to the polls to vote on a proposition that calls for building repairs and maintenance. The project would be done in two phases, according to the district. Phase One is roof replacement and repairs to the high school, middle school and bus garage. Phase Two is repairs, updates and safety maintenance district wide. Voting takes place from noon to 9:00PM in the high school auditorium.
