Michael Aldo Fiocco is in custody following a murder committed in the town of Maine. According to the Broome County Sheriff’s office, Shannon Las-kar-is was found dead lying on the floor next to her bed Friday afternoon. An autopsy performed Saturday morning at Lourdes Hospital confirmed Las-kar-is’ death was a homicide. The sheriff’s office charged Fiocco with murder in the second degree. Fiocco and Laskaris were in a relationship, and had a child together. The three of them lived with another child at the Nanticoke Valley Trailer Park. Both children have been taken to stay with family members.
