The Union-Endicott Superintendent is asking for feedback from the community as the district finalizes next year’s proposed budget. Last night, board members and the superintendent held the second of three work sessions to shape the budget that will go before voters in May. The board is presenting two budgets, which differ by approximately $400,000. The proposed budget includes a nearly $2 million increase over last year’s budget. A few things they hope to improve next year are athletic uniforms, the kindergarten jump start program and adding a high school resource officer. The next workshop is April 15, which the board said it hopes to have a better idea of savings in next year’s budget.
