A pair of bridges on I-81 in the Town of Chenango now bear the name “Trooper Christopher G Skinner Memorial Bridges.” They were dedicated yesterday to the New York State trooper who lost his life on May 29th last year, as a man from Florida intentionally struck him on the side of the road while he was conducting a traffic stop. Skinner’s family, as well as members of the New York State Police Department attended a special dedication ceremony yesterday.
