Primaries were held across New York State yesterday, including right here in Tioga County. A total of 1,294 votes were casted for Tioga County Clerk. Candidate Andrea Klett won the majority with 857 votes. Elections for Town Officials were also held throughout the county: In the Town of Tioga, Brenda Middendorf won the primary for Town Clerk. Paul Martin also collected the majority for Town Justice. In Candor, Connie Kulze received the majority for Town Clerk. In Richford, William Stell and Cynthia Herrick won the majority for Town Councilman.
