An accident on Pennsylvania Avenue in Apalachin yesterday morning resulted in the death of one individual and the injuring of another. According to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office, a Taylor Recycling worker was crossing the road after retrieving a recycling bin when a vehicle struck and killed the worker instantly. The driver of the vehicle is also said to have been injured and sent to the hospital.
