The Waverly boys defeated Owego 69-50 in boys basketball live on WEBO Tuesday. Peyton Miller scored 17 points for the Wolverines as they improved to 15-0 on the season and clinched the IAC South Large School Division title for the first time since 2012. Waverly will look to stay undefeated at Newark Valley on Friday. Chris Riley scored 17 points to lead the Indians. The Owego boys have to win three out of their last four games to qualify for sectionals, starting Friday at SV. The next game on WEBO will be the Owego girls hosting the defending state champions from Susquehanna Valley at 4:30pm on Saturday.
